Make the Easter Jamaican spice bun with us: 

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a loaf pan with baking spray and set aside.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the following ingredients: brown sugar, granulated sugar, honey, browning, molasses, vanilla, melted butter Guinness Stout and egg.

3. In another bowl combine flour, baking powder, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice and salt. Lightly mix. Then throw in the dried fruits.

4. Mix all the ingredients together.

5. Pour mixture into prepared loaf pan, add cherries on top if desired – bake for about 60-75 minutes or until a fork inserted in the bun comes out clean.

6. Let it cool before slicing.

Ingredients: 

â–˘ ÂĽ Cup of brown sugar
â–˘ ÂĽ Cup of granulated sugar (or 50 grams)
â–˘ ÂĽ Cup of honey (or 85 grams)
â–˘ 1 teaspoon of browning.
▢ ½ Tablespoon of molasses
â–˘ 1 Teaspoon of vanilla extract
â–˘ 4 Tablespoons of melted butter
â–˘ 1 Cup of Guinness Stout
â–˘ 1 Egg
â–˘ 1 Cup of dried fruits cherries, raisin
â–˘ 2 Cups of all purpose flour
â–˘ 2 Teaspoons of baking powder
▢ ½ Teaspoon of salt
▢ ½ Tablespoon of cinnamon
▢ 2 ½ Teaspoon of spice combination

Nutmeg (3/4 teaspoon), Cinnamon ( 1 teaspoon) and ( 3/4 teaspoon) All spice)
